3. Choose your Case options:
a. Upper: Changes all letters to Capitals.
b. Lower: Changes all letters to Lower Case.
c. Name Case: Changes all letters to Proper Names/Sentence case. Eg. Tim McCain
4. Choose which fields to process.
5. Click [Ok] button.

- Archive Jobs in ImageMatch.
Archive 'em, send 'em to your Lab... Just use the feature.
In ImageMatch:
1. Restore your job.
2. Goto Export -> Archive Job.
3. ImageMatch will Save your job. Click [Ok].
4. Choose the location to send the Archive. Click [Ok].
5. Choose the size of your media. Click [Ok] button. ImageMatch will split the job into multiple folders for burning based on media size.
TIP: If you are sending the job via CD, leave the default of 650MB. If DVD, choose correct size: Eg. 4000 (4GB)

Give your Services that "Oldtime" look...
In ProServices:
1. Restore your job.
2. Choose your Service. Click [Ok].
3. From the Menu, Goto Templates -> Edit Template -> yourtemplate.tem.
4. Select your Photo Object. You can create a new Image Object: Edit -> Add Object -> Image.
5. In the Image Tools window, Click the radio button next to "Sepia". You should see your image updated with the Sepia Color.
6. Save your Modified Template and Exit.

- Split Packages in ImageMatch.
If you have any Mom's or Dad's that want separate packages, you will love this feature.
In ImageMatch:
1. Restore your job or load images and data.
2. Goto the Subject you want to Split Packages.
3. Click on the Subject toolbar button.
4. Select Copy Record. All data will be copied to a newly created record. If you already have a duplicate record, skip this step.
5. Click on the Same Subject toolbar button.
6. Select Copy Image. A placeholder image will be copied to the newly created record. Spit Packages 1
7. Holding the [F7] key, Click on the new record to add Packages.
8. Print your Packages.
NOTE: When packages are rendered in RipLynx!, there will be an extra Unit that will alert the packager that the next order is a Split Package and NOT a duplicate.

Photograph correctly the first time...
In CamLynx:
1. Photograph a subject. Or, put an image in the Hot Folder.
2. Goto Imaging -> Thumbnail Crop guides. Crop Guide settings will appear. Crop Guides Settings
3. To enable the feature, Click in the Checkbox next to "Crop Guides".
4. Setup which Crop lines you want to display.
5. Choose which Color you want to use.
TIP: Try to use a color that stands out with your background.
6. Adjust your guides with the Mouse by clicking on the guids on the Image.

- Static Titleblocks in ProComposites.
You can now choose to keep ALL Titleblocks the same size in inches...
Configuring Titleblocks:
1. Open your job in ProComposites.
2. Select the "Titleblock" tab. Static Titleblocks Screen
3. Choose your Titleblock.
4. Select your desired Titleblock alignment.
5. In the "Size" section, Change the Unit dropdown to "Inches". "Cells" is default, which changes to dynamic size Titleblocks.
6. Check the box next to: "Center" if you want the Titleblock to be centered in it's area..
7. Type in the Description. Naming it "Noritsu R2R" is a good desc.
8. Enter the number (in inches) for your Titleblock Width.
9. Enter the number (in inches) for your Titleblock Height.
10. Press the "Preview" button.
11. Tweak using steps above if necessary.
12. Save your Composite settings and apply to all composites.

- Dust and Spot removal tool in ImageMatch.
Not only can you remove the pesky dust spots and squiggles, you can use this tool to do simple retouching... Bye, bye zits!
Removing Dust Spots:
1. Restore your "Dusty" ImageMatch job.
2. Goto Imaging -> Dust and Spot Removal. Dust Spot Removal screen
3. Advance to your desired "Dusty" image.
NOTE: The Removal tool is designed to work primarily with Dust spots that are stationary. Ones commonly associated with CCD dust spots. In this situation, clearing the dust spots on one image will then be applied to all images.
4. Click on the Selection Tool button.
5. Click and hold on the image to right to create a selection around the Dust Spot.
6. Click on the [Add] button to add the Dust Spot region.
7. Adjust your Spot Removal settings:
NOTE: The default settings handle 90% of Dust and Spot removal.
a. Filter Size: Controls the Size of the area to remove 0-255. HIGHER = BIGGER. Default is 45.
b. Threshold: Minimum detail intensity required to trigger removal 0-255. HIGHER = REMOVES LESS. Default is 3.
c. Blending: Adjusts the Opacity of the "Patch" 0-100. HIGHER = MORE SOLID. Default is 100.
8. Once you're satisfied with the Dust and Spot removal, Click the [Apply Dust Spot Removal to All] button.
TIP: If you are doing Retouching or just removing dust on an individual basis, Click [Ok] button instead.
9. Click [Ok].

Workflow 1: Backrounds based on Packages:
1. Add Backgrounds to your Packages for GreenScreen printing. Show me how
2. Photograph your subjects using your GreenScreen background.
3. Download your GreenScreen images to your computer or Fileserver.
4. Open ImageMatch.
5. Import your CamLynx job or Load GreenScreen images and your Data.
6. Goto Imaging -> Green Screen. Green Screen Main
Make your GreenScreen adjustments:
NOTE: The default values work for 90% of Green Screen photos.
a. Drop Color: Choose from Green or Blue depending on how the images were photographed.
b. Color Threshold: Adjust this to pull out more or less color from the background. LOWER = MORE COLOR DROPPED. The default is 1.2.
c. Min. Brightness: Select the brightness level of the color to be removed. This helps with removal of shadows. LOWER = DROP MORE SHADOWS. The default is 140.
d. Green Ratio: The ratio of the Drop Color to all other colors. MIN = LESS SENSITIVE, AVE = MIDDLE SENSITIVE, MAX = MOST SENSITIVE. The default is MAX.
e. Drop Regions: Choose areas where the background didn' drop such as backgound props, twrinkles, shadows or other inconsistencies.
1. Choose the Marquee tool.
2. Select an area to be removed.
3. Click "Add" under the Drop Regions list box.
f. Keep Regions: Choose areas where color should not be removed such as clothing that closely matched the drop color.

g. Click [Apply Green Screen to All] button. This applies all adjustments to all records. You can always go back to fix individual records' issues.

If your doing a proof plan or studio workflow, you will love this feature.
Proof Plan example:
1. Setup for your shoot.
2. Shoot your job.
3. Print Proof Sheets.
4. Export your job to ImageMatch.
5. Receive Proof Sheets from school.
6. Open your exported CamLynx job [Ctrl+O].
7. Goto Data -> Prepare for Pose Package Entry.
8. Scan proofsheet using search.
9. Enter package for 1st pose.
10. Hit Next Record button.
11. Enter package for 2nd pose (repeat 10-11 for as many poses).
12. Once packages have been entered...Export to ImageMatch.

- Record Filter button in Reports.
The Record Filter button in the Reports Setup basically narrows your Record query. For instance, if you want to remove a particular Package and records marked for Delete or Duplicate from your Financial report, this is the feature you want to use.
In ImageMatch or CamLynx:
1. Open a job.
2. Goto Reports -> Reports Financial Summary.
3. Enter your Password. The Reports Setup will be displayed. Record Filter Screen 1
4. Click on the "Record Filter" button. The Record Filter Setup will be displayed. Record Filter Screen 2
5. Choose your Filter options. The options chosen will be REMOVED from the Query.
6. Click "Ok".
7. Click "Ok".
8. Print your Report...

- 'Click Balance' image adjustments in ImageMatch (for use with Gray Card).
This feature is very useful when photographing a job under consistent lighting conditions. Although, it is not required for this feature to function, we recommend that you use our new software Mr. Gray prior to photographing your job.
At Photo Shoot:
1. Photograph the your first subject holding an 18% gray card in the environment that you will be photographing your job in.
TIP: Be sure to keep the image with your job.
2. Finish photographing subjects.
In ImageMatch:
1. Open ImageMatch.
2. Restore your job.
3. [Shift] + Right Click on the gray card image. This will display the ImageAdjustments screen. Click Balance Screen 1
4. Goto Edit > Select Area, then Click and create a box within the gray card. An "Adjust" button will appear above the right side image.
5. Click on the "Adjust" button to adjust all your RGB values to 128. This will give you the ideal exposure and color for the 18% gray card.
6. Choose "Set to all Images" or "Set to Current Roll".
7. Click "Ok".
8. ImageMatch will automatically adjust the images in your job to the values provided by the corrections made by the gray card image.

- Adding Package Options, Backgrounds for Green Screen or "Addons".
Package Options or "Addons" are options added to a particular Package in your price list. This feature is also used when using Green Screen to assign Backgrounds to Packages. For example: You could have a "Package A" and a note next to it that reads: "Add $5.00 for Stylized Sepia Tone". Or "Package B" with the Park Background. The package is configured easily in ImageMatch or CamLynx then when Package Entry is done, just add that option. RipLynx! will see the option and add the Sepia Tone or the Background to the image automatically. It's that easy.
Creating a Package Option:
1. Open ImageMatch.
2. Restore a job. Make sure you have a valid Package program and PUD loaded.
3. Hold [F7] and click on a record's image. Package Entry screen should be displayed Pkg Options Screen 1
4. From the menu, Units > View Package Options.
5. Units > Edit Options. Print Options window should be displayed Pkg Options Screen 2
6. Click the "Add" button.
7. Click the "Edit" button.
8. Enter the desired Map number. Example: SEP for Sepia Tone Pkg Options Screen 3 or BKG1 for Background Pkg Options Screen 4.
9. Enter the Description of your Option. Example: Sepia Tone or Park Background.
10. From the menu, Insert > Sepia or Background. You can insert Text, Graphics, Masks, B&W, Soft Focus, Backgrounds for Green Screen and more....
11. Choose how you want the Option applied. "Image" will just apply the option to the base Image. Eg. If you have a text object and you don't want the Sepia to be applied on top of the Text. "Package" will apply the option to the entire package or apply it on top.
12. Click "Ok".

13. Repeat steps 3 thru 12 to add more Options.
Option Package Entry:
1. Open ImageMatch.
2. Restore a job. Make sure you have a valid Package program and PUD loaded.
3. Hold [F7] and click on a record's image. Package Entry screen should be displayed<
4. Make sure your Package Options are visible. Units > View Package Options.
5. Enter your packages using Barcode or Keyboard.
6. Enter your Package Option by checking the Box next to the option or by using the Number keys 1-9.
7. Remove the Package option by un checking the Box or by using the Number keys 1-9.
TIP: The Package Options are saved to the PUD, so make sure you share this PUD with all computers using this function.

- 'Print Rendered Images' option in RipLynx!
We've added an option in RipLynx! to help labs and studios increase their overall Package throughput to printers such as the Noritsu R2R and to give RipLynx! the ability to process ANY images (including Composites and Services). Now you can render during "after hours" and in the morning, shove all those pre-rendered units down your printer's throat.
Workflow:
Setup separate Pre-render RL stations to match the RL station that sends to your particular printer:.
1. Open RipLynx!.
2. File -> Preferences.
3. Select the Packages tab.
4. Create a new Configuration.
TIP: You should name the Configuration something that identifies the Config. as a Prerender Station.
5. Match DPI settings to your printer's RL station.
6. Match output image type to your printer's RL station.
7. Match Id Bar option to your printer's RL station.
8. Match PUD location to your printer's RL station.
9. DISABLE PRINT SCRIPT (this ensures that packages will be rendered to image files not to printer).
Print to Pre-render RL stations:
1. Open ImageMatch.
2. Restore the job. Make sure you have a valid Package program and PUD loaded.
3. File -> Preferences -> Packages Tab -> Select new Prerender RL station.
4. Send prints to Prerender RL station.
Printing:
1. Setup for existing RL printer station should remain the same.
2. From the Menu, Print -> Process Rendered Images. RL Prerender Screen 1
3. Choose folder where pre-rendered images reside (output folder used in Pre-render RL station).
4. Choose RL configuration for printer. RL Prerender Screen 2

- Simple Photo Online Ordering Web Export using ImageMatch.
After completing your ImageMatch job, export to Simple Photo. Your images will be exported directly into your own online photo gallery for resale. Passwords are randomly generated from ImageMatch and added to your export. Ordering your images is now so "Simple".
Exporting Subjects:
1. Restore your Job.
2. Goto Export -> Lab Exports -> Simple Photo. Simple Photo Setup window is displayed. Setup Screen 1
4. In the "Shoot Information" area, Enter your Photographer ID. Provided by Simple Photo.
5. Enter the Venue Name.
6. Enter the Event Label. The name of the event.
7. The Event ID will populate automatically.
8. In the Export Options" area, Click the "..." button.
9. Choose the Export location. where the export will be saved.
10. Choose your Rotation and Image Size options. The defaults are usually sufficient.
11. Choose your Password field. Custom8 is a good place to start.
12. Click the "Run Export" button.
13. When the Export has finished, Locate the Folder you exported to.
14. Log onto www.simplephoto.com with your Username and Password provided by Simple Photo.
15. Click on the "Import" menu item.
16. Drag your folder into the Import box area.
Retrieving Simple Photo Orders:
1. Restore your Job.
2. Goto Print -> Other -> Simple Photo Packages. Simple Photo Order Import window is displayed. Import Screen 1
3. Enter your "Lab Server". Provided by Simple Photo.
4. The Event ID will populate automatically.
5. Enter your "Username". Provided by Simple Photo.
6. Enter you "Password". Chosen when opening Simple Photo Account.
7. Choose your Password field. The field you chose to store passwords when exporting to Simple Photo.
9. Click "Ok".
10. ImageMatch will retrieve your Simple Photo Orders.
11. Click on the "Print" button.
NOTE: ImageMatch MUST be connected to the Internet to retrieve Simple Photo Orders.

- Copy Record button in CamLynx.
This feature is useful when photographing multiple poses with separate packages. An example of this would be a dance package, where there are three poses, boy alone, girl alone, couple together. They all go under the same camera card, but each pose receives it's own package.
In CamLynx:
1. Locate the record for the subject.
2. Enter your package [F8].
3. Take Picture and Save the image [F7].
4. Press [F2] or click on the Clipboard icon. the information will be duplicated into a separate record. Copy Record Screen 1
5. Repeat these steps as many times as you need. Each time the information will be duplicated into a new record.

Workflow:
If printing Composites based on a Package:
1. Open ProComposites.
2. File -> Print Settings.

5. Choose your Packages Field. The field that contains your Package information.
6. For "Print if Record Contains", Select "Package". We will cover "Unit" in the next section.

If printing Composites based on a Unit:
1. Open ImageMatch.
2. File -> Preferences.
3. Select the Packages tab.

5. Add a Custom Unit called "Composite" to your Package(s).
6. Save your new Program.
7. Open ProComposites.
8. File -> Print Settings.

11. Choose your Packages Field. The field that contains your Package information.

We've added Auto-Sizing to text objects in templates. The feature works for all Templates in: ProServices, CamLynx, ProComposites (Titleblocks) and RipLynx!). It will increase or decrease the font size to fit the Text area.
In the Template Builder:
1. Open an existing Template or click "new" to create a new one.
2. Edit or Add a Text object.

5. Enter the Venue Name.
6. Enter the Event Label. The name of the event.
7. The Event ID will populate automatically.
8. In the Export Options" area, Click the "..." button.
9. Choose the Export location. where the export will be saved.
10. Choose your Rotation and Image Size options. The defaults are usually sufficient.
11. If you have not already created passwords, do it now.
12. Click the "Run Export" button.
13. When the Export has finished, Locate the Folder you exported to.
14. Log onto www.simplephoto.com with your Username and Password provided by Simple Photo.
15. Click on the "Import" menu item.

- 'Stack Sort' for reports.
If your printing Camera Cards, you will love this! Print all of your Camera cards using the "Stack Sort" option and Stack Cut them. All you have to do next is place each cut stack of cards and place them on top of the other stack and they are in the Sort order you want!
In ImageMatch or CamLynx:
1. Open a job.
2. Goto Reports -> Camera Cards. The Reports Main menu will be displayed. Stack Sort Screen 1
3. Check the box next to: "Use Stack Sorting".
4. Click "Ok".
5. Print your Camera Cards, keeping the pages in order.
At your Stack Cutter:
1. Stack cut your Camera Cards.

- Insert Blank Images option in ImageMatch for blank service printing.
Some services do not require the subject's information on the Service. For this reason, we've added this feature.
Adding Blank Images:
1. Goto Data -> Create Blank Records [Ctrl]+B. Blank Images Screen 1
2. Enter the Number of Records you want to create.
3. Goto Data -> Insert Blank Images. ImageMatch adds a placeholder image for all records without an image.
4. Click "Ok"..
5. Print your Services using ProServices.
Removing Blank Images:
1. Goto Data -> Remove Blank Images. ImageMatch removes all placeholder images for all records.

- Delete Tagged records in ImageMatch.
Occasionally, after matching up images and data, additional data is left over. Instead of deleting each data record one at a time, we've added the option to remove the whole group at once.
1. Open ImageMatch.
2. Restore your Job.
3. Goto Data -> Tagging -> Clear All Tags. This ensures no records are deleted by mistake
4. Tag the records for deletion. Tag a range or use [F4] + clicking on the image
5. From the Menu, Data -> Tagging -> Delete Tagged Records.
6. Click "Ok".

- Quality <--> Performance slider in ProServices.
You can choose whether the print speed or the image quality is more important before printing a service with ProServices!
In ProServices:
1. Open a job.
2. Choose your Service.
1. Goto File -> Preferences. The Preferences window will be displayed Quality Slider Screen 1
4. Position the slider to: "Quality" for services with larger images, such as proofs or order envelopes.
4. Position the slider to: "Speed" when print speed is more important than image quality.

- Multiple Titleblocks in ProComposites.
Give your Composites a more individual design. If you have a Customer that wants you to place the students around the background image of the school, we have added a simple but effective way to accomplish that feat.
1. Open ProComposites.
2. Select Title Block tab. The Title Block editor will be displayed. Title Block Screen 1
3. You have the option to add as many as 9 Title Blocks to each composite.
4. Click the Title Block Dropdown box and select a Title Block.
5. Click the "Enable" checkbox to Activate and Modify the Title Block.
6. If you want to use a Template in the Title Block, choose your Template at this time. If you do not choose a Template, a "blank" space will be rendered in that location.
7. Choose the Location of the Title Block using the Alignment selector located at the bottom.
8. Choose the Size of your Title Block. Experiment with the size until it matches the desired look. This will look different based on the # of photos in the composite.
9. Click "Preview" button to see results.
10. Repeat steps 4 through 9 to get desired results.
TIP: The best way to accomplish the desired look is to play, experiment etc... Once you have found a look, save your defaults for later use.

- Proof Sheets in RipLynx!
Create Proof Sheets that fit your business in ProServices, setup the Proof Sheet and Pose data in ImageMatch, print to RipLynx!
Creating your Proof Sheet Service (ProServices):
1. Open ProServices.
2. Select pl_proof.srv. This is a good guideline for a simple Proof Sheet Template.
3. Edit the pl_proofsheet.tem template. Take a look at the fields used for the Images.
4. Modify and rename the Template / Service to fit your needs.
Setting up RipLynx! Service Unit (RipLynx!):
1. Add your Proof Sheet Service to RipLynx! by following the steps in the RipLynx! Service integration Here
IMPORTANT: Make sure you use the same PUD file for both ImageMatch & RipLynx!...
Setting up Proof Sheet Data (ImageMatch):
1. Open your Job.
2. Add your Proof Sheet Service Package to your Package Program.
3. Data -> Proof Sheets.
4. Check the "Enable Proof Sheet Conversion" box.
5. In "Fields To Match", pick the fields that uniquely identify records. For example, pick one field that is unique for all records (such as "Student ID") or a set of fields that are unique together (such as "First Name", "Last Name").
TIP: The Default settings will be sufficient 90% of the time (especially for CamLynx users).
6. Match the Pose fields with the fields in your Proof Sheet Template.
7. Add or Remove poses by using the "More" and "Fewer" buttons. If you have 5 Poses in your Template, there should be 5 Pose fields here.
8. The "Use Blank for non-existent poses" option will place a blank image in the place of your empty pose. If this option is turned Off, the rendered Proof Sheet will use the graphic Placeholder used in the Template.
9. Press "Ok" button.
10. Add your Proof Sheet Package [F7+Click] to the records to print Print -> Send packages to RipLynx!.

- Color Management to Individual Units in RipLynx!
If you've got the need for separate Color Profiles for different types of Units, then this is for you...
To begin with, we'll just explain the basics for use with Sepia and Grayscale Units in RipLynx!
Adding a Color Management item to an existing Unit:
1. Open RipLynx!
2. File -> Preferences.
3. Select the Packages Tab. (Make sure that you are using "RipLynx! Renderer V2")
4. In Units Configuration, Click "Config".
5. Select the desired Unit to add Color Management to. You can also add a new Unit to add the Color Management.
6. Click "Edit Graphics". The graphics editor will be displayed. Renderer Screen 6
7. From the Menu, Insert -> Color Management.
8. Name the Color Management item to help describe what the profile is used for. E.g. "Sepia Color Profile".
9. Change "UseEmbeddedProfile" option to true if you want RipLynx! to read and use an Embedded profile when loading the image.
TIP: Most of the time, this setting is set to false.
10. To change the Objects' Layer Level, Select the Color Management from Dropdown list, Edit -> Move to Back, Forward etc....
11. To Delete a Color Management item, Select the Color Management item from Dropdown list, Edit -> Delete Object.
12. To save the graphics configuration, File -> Save. Name the file. Click "Ok".
13. Click "Ok" to exit Graphics configuration.
14. Place a Check in the "Use Graphics" selection to enable the feature.
15. File -> Save Unit Definitions.
16. Exit Unit Configuration.
17. Add the new Unit to your Package Program in ImageMatch.
TIP: Make sure your modified Package Units Definition file (.PUD) matches when you add packages to reflect the changes to you units.
NOTE: The Color Management Item in the Unit will override the Global Color Management set in your RipLynx! configuration.

- Added Noritsu MP-1600 Printer Interface to RipLynx!
We've added yet another Printer interface to the Noritsu line of printers.
Configuring Noritsu MP-1600 Printer:
1. Open your Noritsu Printer Software.
2. From Main, goto "Edit Image". Noritsu MP-1600 Screen 1
3. Click "Go To Menu" button in lower right.
4. Click "Go To Extension" in lower right.
5. Click "Input Device Selection" Noritsu MP-1600 Screen 2
6. Under "Current Layout", click "Network".
7. Choose your RipLynx image output folder and make sure "Net Order" button is ON.
NOTE: Make sure that this folder and the RipLynx image print folder match.
8. Click "Save Settings".
9. Click "Go To Main". You should see the Waiting for NTO dialog... Noritsu MP-1600 Screen 3
Configuring Noritsu MP-1600 Interface (in RipLynx):
1. Make sure your RipLynx! Station is on the same network and has file access to your Noritsu Printer.
2. Run RipLynx!.

8. Check the box next to: "Enable Print Script".
9. Choose "Noritsu MP-1600 Printer" from the dropdown menu.

To help alleviate issues with incorrect or non-matching PUD files, we have changed the way PUD and PRM files are loaded...
IMPORTANT: The PUD file location is now stored in the Job. If you change the location of the PUD, make sure you save the job...
Loading a Package Program or PRM:
1. Open ImageMatch.
2. File -> Preferences.
3. Select the Packages Tab.
4. In Program section, Click "...".
5. Select the desired PRM file.
6. Click "Config" to edit or change the Package Program.
Loading a Package Unit Definition or PUD:
1. Open ImageMatch.
2. File -> Preferences.
3. Select the Packages Tab.
4. In Package Units Definition section, Click "...".
5. Select the desired PUD file.
6. Click "Config" to edit or change the Package Unit Definition file.
TIP: Choose a shared location for your PUD file(s) on your fileserver or network so that ALL stations can load the same PUD files.

We have redesigned the RipLynx! rendering engine to give you the power to create quality Packages with more visual flare! In addition to the Graphics, masks, text and more, the new engine supports powerful color management which includes reading Embedded profiles from images. With the ProServices integration, you can make sure that your services are printed at the same time as your packages, using the same sort. Perfect for Sports and more! Don't be afraid to mix and match Graphics, Text, Masks, Sepia etc...
Let's show you how to create some nice units using the major features of the new RipLynx! engine.
Adding Photo Masks to an existing Sub-Unit:
NOTE: Masks and other Graphics can be added to Units or SubUnits. The example below is a SubUnit config, but the steps are the same for Unit configuration.
1. Open RipLynx!
2. File -> Preferences.
3. Select the Packages Tab. (Make sure that you are using "RipLynx! Renderer V2")
4. In Units Configuration, Click [Config]. Unit Configuration Screen
5. Select the desired Unit to modify. You can also add a new Unit to add the Mask to.
6. Select the SubUnit you want to add the Alpha Mask by clicking on the SubUnit in the list.
7. Click in the checkbox next to "Sub-Unit Graphic" to enable the feature.
8. In the Package Setup Section, next to "Sub-Unit Graphic", Click [Edit Graphics]. The graphics editor will be displayed. Renderer Screen 1
9. From the Menu, Insert -> Alpha Mask.
10. Click [...] button next to the Alpha Mask Filename to choose a Mask. There are approx 120 Masks included in the graphics folder.
TIP: You can create any Mask yourself in Photoshop or another image editor. RipLynx! will convert the image automatically to a Photo Mask!
11. To Delete a Mask, Select Mask from Dropdown list, Edit -> Delete Object.
12. To save the graphics configuration for later use, File -> Save. Name the file. Click [Ok].
13. Choose what to Apply the Alpha Mask to:
a. This Sub Unit: Will add the Mask to just the Selected SubUnit.
b. All Sub Units in this Unit: Will add the Mask to All of the SubUnits in the selected Unit.
c. All Sub Units in this PUD: Will add the Mask to All of the SubUnits in the entire PUD (Package Unit Definitions file).
14. Click [Ok] to exit Graphics configuration.
15. Goto Preview -> Full Preview to look at your new Mask applied.
15. File -> Save Unit Definitions.
16. Exit Unit Configuration.
17. Add the new Unit to your Package Program in ImageMatch.

TIP: Use Photoshop to create a graphic. Save as .PNG and it will preserve transparency perfectly!
11. Name the Graphic to help when multiple Images are on your Unit.
12. You can maintain the aspect ratio of the Image by un-checking the "Stretched" selection box.
13. Move the Image Position by selecting the Image from the Dropdown list, click and hold on Image.
14. To change the Objects' Layer Level, Select the Graphic from Dropdown list, Edit -> Move to Back, Forward etc....
15. To Delete a Graphic, Select the Graphic from Dropdown list, Edit -> Delete Object.
16. To save the graphics configuration for later use, File -> Save. Name the file. Click [Ok].
17. Choose what to Apply the Graphic to:
a. This Sub Unit: Will add the Graphic to just the Selected SubUnit.

3. Select the Packages Tab. (Make sure that you are using "RipLynx! Renderer V2")

6. Select the SubUnit you want to add Text by clicking on the SubUnit in the list.
7. Click in the checkbox next to "Sub-Unit Graphic" to enable the feature.

a. To add Dynamic Fields, use ~[ ([Shift +` + [] FieldName [] + Shift + `]) Renderer Screen 8 around field names.
E.g.. ~[Last Name]~ will place the subjects' last name with the text.
b. Field names MUST match Exactly to the fields used in the Database.
9. Change the Font, Style, Size by Clicking the "..." next to the Text Font box.
10. Change Text Color, Fill options and Border options. Experiment with settings to get desired look and style.
TIP: The Fill option will fill the Text Box which holds the Text with the selected color.
TIP: To make sure your Text always fits in the box, use the Auto Size Text checkbox.
11. Move the Text Position by selecting the Tex from the Dropdown list, click and hold on Text.
12. To change the Objects' Layer Level, Select the Text from Dropdown list, Edit -> Move to Back, Forward etc....
13. To Delete Text, Select Text from Dropdown list, Edit -> Delete Object.
16. To save the graphics configuration for later use, File -> Save. Name the file. Click [Ok].
17. Choose what to Apply the Text to:

Use Embedded Profiles:
Use Embedded color profiles when you want to load the Profile embedded in your image automatically. E.g.. Images from your camera.
NOTE: Using this option overrides the use of Input profiles set by the user.
1. Open RipLynx!
2. File -> Preferences.
3. Select the Packages Tab. (Make sure that you are using "RipLynx! Renderer V2")
4. Click "Color Mgmt". The Color Management dialog will be displayed. Renderer Screen 2
5. Select "Enabled" = TRUE. This enables Color Management.
6. Select "UseEmbeddedProfiles" = TRUE. This enables the use of Embedded profiles on image load.

Integrate ProServices as RipLynx! Units:
1. Open RipLynx!
2. File -> Preferences.
3. Select the Packages Tab. (Make sure that you are using "RipLynx! Renderer V2")
4. In Units Configuration, Click [Config].
5. Click [Add] button to add a New Unit. Renderer Screen 4
6. Select "Service" as the Unit type.
7. Give a Description and Short Description to the Unit. The Map number is automatically assigned.
8. Click [...] button to choose which Service file (service.srv) to use as the Service Unit.
NOTE: ProServices MUST be installed on the RipLynx! computer. All services will be rendered for the current record only.
9. File -> Save Unit Definitions.
10. Exit Unit Configuration.
11 Add the new Unit to your Package Program in ImageMatch.
TIP: Make sure your modified Package Units Definition file (.PUD) matches when you add packages to reflect the changes to you units.

Assign Record Numbers:
You can assign Record Numbers to any field. Assign Record Numbers to all records or those that do not have any.
Assign Record Numbers using the first unique number or Assign Record Numbers using a specified Range.
1. Open ImageMatch or CamLynx.
2. Load a Job or Import new data.
3. Data -> Assign Record Numbers or [Ctrl+A]. The Assign Record Numbers dialog will be displayed. Record Numbers 1
4. Choose your Field to Assign Record Numbers to.
5. Choose your "Assign to" options.
a. Records w/out #s: Assign Record Numbers to Records without any existing numbers in the selected field.
b. All Records: Assign Record Numbers to ALL records regardless of existing numbers in selected field.
6. Choose your "Record Number to assign" options.
a. First Unique Number: This option will assign Record Numbers starting at the first available (unused) number. This is usually 1.
b. Unique Numbers Between: This option assigns Record Numbers using a specific Range of numbers. E.g.. 500-1000.
7. Click "Ok" to Assign Record Numbers.

Create Blank Records:
You can Create Blank Records for all of your pre-production needs.
Blank Records are useful for creating subjects with NO DATA for use with barcoded Labels and/or Camera Cards for post-shoot Data Entry.
1. Open ImageMatch or CamLynx.
2. Goto Data -> Create Blank Records or [Ctrl+B].
The Create Blank Records dialog will be displayed. Blank Records 1
3. Enter the number of Blank Records you wish to create. E.g.. 500.
4. Click "Ok" to Create Blank Records.

We've added keyboard shortcuts for scrolling through records in ImageMatch Data Entry.
Keep your hands off that mouse!
1. Open ImageMatch.

3. Use [PageDown] to goto the Next record.
3. Use [PageUp] to goto the Previous record.
3. Use [Home] and [End] to goto the Beginning and End of the Database.

- Import / Merge
This powerful Import will add flexibility and time-saving options for ImageMatch and CamLynx. Using a "Wizard" interface, the Import will limit the need for external programs such as Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel. Giving the options for Importing most data types and Merging and/or Adding new data.
Below are some screenshots of the Import / Merge feature in ImageMatch and a description of how to use it.
1. Open ImageMatch
2. File -> Import Data.
3. Choose your Data file (this defaults to ALL files but you can choose your file type). Click "Open".
4. Choose your data file import options Import Dialog 1. Choose Header = true if your file has a field description header. Start line is where you want to start importing the data from, this must include the header if it exists. Click "Next".
a. If you chose an MDB or XLS file, Import Dialog 2 will be displayed. This is the password for the Database. In most cases the default "admin" will work. Click "Next".
b. If you chose an MDB or XLS file, Import Dialog 3 will be displayed. This shows a list of the data tables in your data file. Choose the table that includes the records that you want to import. Click "Next".
7. Map your fields to the fields that exist in ImageMatch Import Dialog 4. The Import will automatically check for field matches in ImageMatch if your file has a description header. Click "Next".
NOTE: If there are fields in your import file that DO NOT exist in the field list, use the Data -> Modify Fields (ImageMatch) or Data -> Fields -> ... (CamLynx) feature to Add/Delete fields or Load/Save fields lists. Modify Fields
8. If you have Image Path or Image Name fields in your import file and wish to match and import your images:
a. Select the Images Tab.
b. Map your Image Path or Image Name field.
c. Click on "Images Folder".
d. Click on "...".
e. Select the location of your photos folder. Click "Ok".
f. Click "Next".
Your images will be matched according to the field(s) and loaded at the end of the import.
NOTE: Match and Import Images feature is not available in CamLynx.
9. Choose your fields to compare for Merging data Import Dialog 5. If you want to ADD data, un-check ALL fields. Click "Finish".
10. A confirm Import dialog will display how many records WILL BE IMPORTED/MERGED Import Dialog 6. You can choose to continue or cancel the import at this point.

- Reports
Reporting in ImageMatch and CamLynx! is a snap! Easy to use but flexible enough to send reports to your customers or print them for your own production needs. You can filter data to limit the records that show in the report, sort by any fields, preview reports and even search for data on reports. Print to any windows printer or export your reports to PDF or HTML files to send to your customers.
Below are some screenshots of the Reporting feature in ImageMatch and a description of how to use it.
1. Open ImageMatch.
2. Restore a Job: File -> Restore Job [Ctrl+R].
3. Report -> Select a report.
4. If your fields do not match the fields in the report, use the "Field Mapping" button to map the correct fields Reports Dialog 2.
5. Filter data (if desired or leave blank to use all records in report) Reports Dialog 1 To Filter on multiple fields, use the "More" button.
TIP: To filter out Duplicates or Deletes use the following filter settings. Also, refer to the Filter Dialog. Reports Filter Dialog

- Sequence Records
Simple. That's the best way to describe the Sequence Records feature. Here's how to prepare for it's use...
1. Create or use a data file with the subjects that you plan on shooting along with a unique subject identifier field.
2. Print barcoded labels, envelopes or Camera Cards with a unique subject identifier.
3. Goto your photo shoot with a digital camera and your camera cards.
4. Photograph your subjects keeping your cards in photographed order.
5. Finish the shoot and return to your studio or lab.
Once at your Studio or Lab:
1. Open ImageMatch.
2. Import your data file used to create your barcoded labels etc...
3. Load your images. Your images will be in order photographed which is imperative when using Sequence Records.
4. Goto File -> Data -> Sequence Records. or use [Ctrl+Q]
TIP: The first time you run Sequence Records, setup your fields and field order. Edit -> Preferences. Sequence Preferences.
TIP: If you are using a Barcode Scanner and want to add Packages or Modify the Data, use the Edit -> Require Double Enter option.
5. Select your unique subject identifier field and scan the first barcode Sequence Main. This should be the first subject photographed.
6. Once you have scanned the barcode, the subject data will be moved into the first position and the "Next Sequence Number" will increment.
a. If you are not using a Barcode Scanner, type the data into the field and press [Enter] or the "Insert" button.
b. If you make a mistake, simply press [Ctrl+Z] to Undo your entry or press [Ctrl+Y] to Redo your entries.Or use the Edit menu.
c. The "Include Sequenced Records" checkbox will display ALL records. This option defaults to off so that when a record is sequenced, it is removed from the available data.
7. To add Packages to a record, click the "Package Entry" button or [F7]. Add your Packages and hit [Enter].
8. To add a new record, click the "Add a Record" button or [F5]. Modify the data and hit [Enter] to insert into your database.
9. To Edit the contents of the current Record's Data, click the "Edit Record" button or [F6]. Modify the data and hit [Enter] to go back into Sequence Mode. Hit [Enter] again to insert into your database.
10. Repeat process for entire shoot.
11. Save your job. When you save your job, the last sequenced position is saved also, so you can continue where you left off.

We have streamlined the features from the Manufacturers' capture software to help alleviate confusion and to speed up image file transfers to CamLynx.
NOTE: Make sure you have the Camera drivers correctly installed and the camera is fully functional before running CamLynx.
1. Turn on your Camera.
2. Open CamLynx.
3. Goto Imaging -> Camera Interface -> Camera Select.
4. Choose your Camera you wish to connect to. Click "Ok". Camera Interface Dialog 1.
5. Click "Ok" to enable the interface.
6. For Interface settings, Goto Imaging -> Camera Interface -> Camera Setting. Camera Interface Dialog 2.
a. For further Camera-specific options, goto Camera -> Options or Camera -> Configure Camera.
7. To close the interface settings window, File -> Hide.
8. Take pictures.
